The First Requirement Was to Develop a Custom Theme for the Website That Was in Line With the Brand’s Aesthetics and Image. The Theme Needed to Be Modern, User-friendly, and Visually Appealing.

One-Step Checkout

The Second Requirement Was to Integrate a One-step Checkout Process to Simplify the Checkout Process for Customers. This Feature Helped to Reduce Cart Abandonment Rates and Increased Customer Satisfaction.

Login through Options

The Third Requirement Was to Allow Customers to Log in Through Various Social Media Platforms Like Facebook and Google. This Feature Made the Registration and Login Process Easier and Quicker for Customers.

Custom Shipping Method

The Fourth Requirement Was to Develop a Custom Shipping Method That Included a Personalized Invoice and Special Shipping Requirements for Precious Metals and Stones. For Example, the Shipping Method Would Include Specific Packaging and Handling Requirements for Diamonds and Other Valuable Stones. It Would Also Include Additional Charges Based on Weight Such as:

1. Upto 1kg – 3 Rs Per Gram.
2. Above 1 Kg – 2.50 Per Gram
3. Insurance – Per 100000 * 0.001 = 100 Rs
4. Minimum Freight Charge – 1000

Custom Price Module

The Team Was Asked to Develop a Custom Price Module That Allowed for the Daily Update of Gold Prices Based on Various Factors Such as Daily Gold and Silver Market Prices, Making Charges, VAT, Weight, Stone, Etc. This Feature is a Necessity for Any Gold/silver Vendor. It Also Help Customers to Make Informed Purchasing Decisions and Ensured That Prices Were Always Up to Date With the Precious Metal/stone Market.

Store Locator For Their 16 Stores

Another Requirement for the CMR Jewellery Website Was to Implement a Store Locator Feature to Help Customers Find the Nearest Physical Store. Since CMR Jewellery Had 16 Physical Stores in Different Locations, This Feature Was Essential for Customers Who Preferred to Buy Jewelry in Person or Who Wanted to Try on the Jewelry Before Purchasing.
